Don't miss the Fete de la Musique

Affiche06_icone_1  Back in the early 80's, Paris welcomed summer solstice by offering a wide range of free music concerts throughout the city.  Now, cities all over the globe have followed suit and today, June 21st is  recognized as a worldwide day of music.  I love this day !!! Music is a wonderful way to appreciate other people and cultures.

I have the good fortune of being in Provence this June, so you can bet I'll be enjoying this day to the fullest.  I found a great informational website that has a concert program available Fete de la Musique information  .

If you're in the area, be sure to head over to l'Isle sur la Sorgue about 9:00.  Leonard Blair and Gig Street will start their performance in front of Longchamps. They plan to play until midnight or so.  Be sure to bring your dancing legs!
